Anyone have a 2nd hand 2-3gl tank?

Hi guys
I'm looking for a 2 or 3 gallon nano tank was hoping to find one 2nd hand but the only thing i found so far was from a guy in OK that doesnt take paypal. If it has anything that comes with it that'd be great but for now i need a tank. Let me know what yall might have lyin around! I plan on making it a softie tank and put a tiny scorpion fish in it till he grows out some.

I got a 2.5 gallon for hatching brine shrimp from Big Al's for like 5 bucks.

I was looking myself and saw one at a thrift store (2gl or so) for $15! Can you believe it? I don't know what those people are thinking sometimes...obviously don't know that it's a cheapie item in a pet store!

Oh, and I remembered the name of the light I think I was telling you about...it's called "Ott Lite"

They had a couple models at Lowe's that looked like they'd be great for a nano. I think they were about $30-40.

hey ryan, big als is on University Drive, and Mcnab Road in Tamarac.

if you take i95, get off a cypress creek road West and take it down to University, itll be the plaza on the left right before university.

anyhow, not sure if its worth the drive for you in gas etc. but they have dozens of small nano tanks that im sure youll find one you will like.

Yeah i'd have to get the bus/tri-rail to get there most likely cuase i dont even have a car.... Tamarac.. I'm in downtown hollywood, i might have to just see what beverlys has its 25min by bus university and pines blvd i cant imagine the day trip it would take to get to tamarac

of course the money your spending on a nano could be used to save up for a scooter or some inexpensive form of transportation.

but anyway,
any local petsmart or walmart should have small aquariums fairly cheap.

Yeah well why buy a scooter when i cant use it to carry goods back and forth? I can only carry a little bit on a scooter so i might as well just catch rides with people who have REAL cars like i do now until i graduate and get a new car from mom and dad. Trust me there is a very long story i dont feel like telling about why i dont drive anymore (for now at least) that involved a bad car wreck. Anyways ill find something. Theres just no way to carry nearly 30gl of saltwater once a week from the store to my house on a scooter.

I went down to pet supermarket to buy a new maxijet 900 and nearly left with one of those deco 2gl's but they were charging waay to much for one there about 50 with tax thats ridiculous i can order them like 20 dollars cheaper.

Alright i finally broke down and ordered a 2gl hex shape tank, i will probably have to modify it (lighting and filtration) but i have all the equip to do that with. So in the mean time i am getting the scorpion fish today, and ill set aside some pieces or rock and start cliping frags and macro to decorate the new system with.
