Anyone have a old 10 K 250W Ushio I could look at?

I will need to replace my bulbs soon. Since everyone is swearing by the Ushio bulbs I was going to try those. I have 14k right now and like the color. The Ushio bulbs are yellowish I guess?? How yellow are they? Am I going to hate the look?

If anyone has a 250W SE Ushio laying around I would like to compare the 14k's to these side by side...

Breurus brought a 10K 250W ushio a few hours ago. I put it in there and I just don't think that I like the color... My super green GSP looks brown without the super actinics. With them on it looks ok... I think I might have to go with 12K or 14K.

Yeah I have a few but all of them were over exposed a little or something I'm not sure, here was the best out of them

I have 2 Ushio 10K 250W on my tank that are 8 months old, I would not say they are yellow at all.

It depends on the ballast used. Some ballasts run down in the 8000 kelvin range with the ushio.

What ballast do you have?

Here is that bulb with different ballasts and the cct (visual look to us) and also read the ppfd numbers (growth power).

Are the coralvue and the aro ballast not good ballast? because neither of those are ever on those types of sites.
