I'm looking into mounting some tunze 6045's on a 1" thick acrylic tank, problem is the magnet holders are only rated for 3/4" thick acrylic, and even then, they're borderline too weak.

I know the neodymium will quickly corrode, so after I find the correct number to use, I'll dip them in some kind of epoxy stuff to seal them off or goto tap plastics and find a perfect box to go around them =P
The magnetic mount on the 6045 is about 1.5" in diameter, this site only sells up to 1", but I think that'll be good enough, though they have smaller ones that seem to have more force.
Anybody have experience with these? Which would you recommend?
