Anyone interested in a Purple Tang

I picked up a purple tang from sone a couple weeks ago and he didn't mesh real well with my yellow tang. Actually the yellow tang beat him to a pulp, I pulled him out and put him in my sump and have been slowly nursing him back to health. Now I feel bad because this beautiful fish is roaming around in 15 gallons of water, so he needs a new home. I paid 50 for him, I'll sell him for 50. Thanks J

Awww man, that sucks to hear dude. I wish i could have him but my wife would kill me adn my PBT would probably kill it, so we would both be dead.

That's too bad. How long did you keep him with the yellow before you moved him to the sump?

He's a really nice sized fish, probably 4 or 5 inches long. He was in with the yellow long enough for me to confirm they weren't going to get along(2 days) I got lucky because he was sleeping in the top corner of the tank so I pulled him when I had the chance. Pics are probably not going to happen, my sump isn't very accessible, he's not very beat up I just didn't want to take the chance of him being beaten to death so like I said I pulled him when I had the chance.

if you were closer I would take him. I have plenty of room in the tank and it was his original home anyway.

why dont i just put in it your 125 gallon tank......it would look good there. I got a pretty good offer from emporium so if no one wants it by then I'll probably just take it up tomorrow afternoon.

The purple tang has an almost identical shape to a yellow tang, so I hope no one with a yellow tang tries this again.

It would look good in there but neither the PBT or the the wife would like him.

i think it might be ok with the PBT, it doesnt have the same body shape or colors, no biggie, they gave me a pretty fair price for it so I won't be out anything.

Really?? I had him in the same tank with a yellow, blue and sailfin tang and they all got along great. It's hit or miss but I guess I got lucky? I think my next purchase will be a Powerball ticket.

That's weird because the purple one used to be the most dominant one out of the tangs when he was in my tank.

Send that purple wonder to Kansas, theres no place+like Home and would have the run of my 180, it would be the largest in the tank which will be good for the additude,and next down in size is a hippo tang , who is a friend to all $50.00 and you ship . i live in kansas. i have a great reef very stable and peaceful, i think it would be a good move. Thanks
