Anyone interested in a snail/crab group buy?

NOTE: There are three sizes of blue leg: micro, small and medium. If you don't specify which I'll assume you mean the standard 'small'.

NOTE: The difference between astrea and golden astrea is only that the golden astrea are smaller and cheaper.

NOTE: The cerith ($0.75) and nerite ($1.00) are relatively very EXPENSIVE so be careful how many you order. Their ceriths are very large: 1.5" to 2".

Those ordering the above snails please double check your order. Here are rough price estimates that will go down as we hit quantity discounts. The total will also be slighly lower as the 10% discount will not be applied till very end.

Bryan,

I'll be ordering Wed (Aug 24th) for Friday delivery, so drop-dead date for firming up what you want is night before. Folks will need to pick up Friday night or Saturday afternoon after the meeting at my house in Tracy.

Scott

Scott, on second thought I'll take only 20 ceriths, and I want the micro hermits.

All the astreas I had in the past did a great job eating algae but they ALL flipped over at one point and died (I got sick of flipping them back over daily). Just a word of warning.

Scott,

Can I get in for:

100 small blue leg
50 turbo/astrea
50 micro blue leg
50 golden astrae
36 cerith
12 Nassarius
2 emeral crab.

Thanks

Jake, thats funny your astrea's didnt flip back over. The ones I have flip themselves over, but it takes them a few minutes.
The only way they died is when my hermits ate them, or they got sucked into a power head.

those are the ones I have or had. Started with 10 now I have 1. I don't know about them not be able to flip themself but I threw my new batch from Mermaid and they all righted themself. The only thing left is for them to get off the glass and get on the rock.

Plankton,

I just moved to Sacramento from SoCal and would like to get in this group buy if possible.

I'd like:

15 Cerith
10 small blue leg hermits
10 nerite

Please let me know if it's ok for me to get in on this group buy and if anyone from the Sac area needs a pick up, I can pick up your order and meet you in the Elk Grove area.

Thanks!

Bill

Sounds like you guys must have got some smart ones, or they were not astreas. From the Live Aquaria description in the link above:

"If it falls, it is often unable to right itself, and will need the aquarist to place it upright, again."

Or do a search for "astrea flip" and see what you come up with.

Hey Scott iwanted to add 5 vibex nassarius snails to my order dint see that on your updated list could u please add them thanks Michael.
