anyone keep their fish only below 76 degrees?

i'm at 80degrees with NO LIGHTS, net ~200g. combined return pump plus skimmer, probably 200watts. the room the tank is in just doesnt get good A/C. any case, i'm considering getting a chiller if i want to keep my tank around 73-75degrees.

It all depends on what your trying to keep

I keep all tanks at 76 F.

I try to keep my FOWLR at 76 degrees also, but it ranges up to about 78 during the really hot days.

Rather than get a chiller, you might try just placing a fan in the sump or one that blows across the tank. Evaporative cooling can easily drop your tank a few degress.

We run 76*F unless it warrants being cooler (we keep SH at 74*F max and our bluefin lion at 63*F max).
