Anyone keep their Maximas on the sandbed?

I have my Crocea and Derasa attached to rockwork but I can't get my Maximas to attach to flat pieces of LR, small crannie shaped LR, half clam shells. Can I just leave them in the sandbed? This is not a DSB, just maybe about a inch of LS.

that's cool as long as it can get alot of exposure to light and make sure it out most of the time in order to absorb nutriets then it fine.

I never had a problem with keeping clams on the sandbed. I actual prefer to put maximas on the sandbed and croceas on the rockwork.

I only have a single max , but its atached up in the riock work, the next few I purchase will be on the sand bed...since im changing out light systems ...
