Anyone know anything about Fish Lukemia?

RNW would love a DVR or TIVO. She never get's to watch anything but PBS and Dora.

I have watched more TV in my hospital room in 10 days than I have for the last 2 years total. Not a tv watcher really.

I wish I could afford one for her. May be a very long time before I can work again if ever. Now that they seem confident I have cancer I don't think I'll be 100% anytime soon.
 
It's bad enough having something wrong with you but when nobody even knows for sure what it is that has to make it ten times worse. Hope you get well soon. Best wishes to you and your family my friend!

Keri your frags are doing good, I am coral watching them until you get out. Some darn crab or ?? keeps nipping the tips off of some sps. Don is freaked out by your mysterious illness and wants me to get all suited up before touching anything in the tank. I am going to dig those ugly purple and orange gloves back out of the closet. I stopped using them because my hippo turns grey and plays dead on the bottom if I come near the tank with them. I hated scaring him to death everytime but oh well he will have to get used to it. Maybe you could sell this mysterious illness to the media and make millions?? I sure hope something good comes out of all of this, keep hanging in there, we are all praying for ya!
 
Hey Carrie. They seem now to think they are 99% sure it is Cancer. Problem is they don't know from where. I have had CT Scans, PET Scans, Ultrasound on my boys, Surgery, TB tests, Blood work galore, Cultures, Samples & everything else you can name. They still don't know what is is for 100% sure.

After this last round of tests today (Ultrasound on the boys and the PET Scan) they think they will have a definate answer by -9/12.

I'm driving them crazy. :)
 
Think about all of the LFS employees all over the world who have had no probs. I think if you have open cuts you should be careful, but I think the docs are reaching for a diagnosis if they think the pathogens came from the tank.

Ok, Nothing new at all guys. I've just been laying around resting and not online as much as I would like.

Docs were supposed to have a diagnosis yesterday when the testing on the frags they took from my shoulder were done but he has yet to call me like he said he would when he knew.

Going for a consultation with Oncology about radiation treatments on Thursday. Seems kind of odd that they schedule that without a set diagnosis but the lady said it's just to discuss it as an option.

When I hear something more definate than the "We are pretty sure it's Cancer" that I have been given you all will know my fate.

Till then, Keep a stiff upper lip. ;)
