Gotta be honest I never knew what one was until I realized I have one under my freaking sink!! Yea seriously. The house we bought has one but infortunately it doesnt work right now... Not sure why.

I did notice one of the tubes is broken off... Trying to figure it out though.

Any advice would be fantastic as I know nothing about these things.

Pictures will help. Usually you have a feed line, drain line, and RO line. It may have a saddle valve that's closed or the filters are clogged.

Ill have pics up in a bit. The tube thats snapped and not connected at 1 end is fed through a brass fitting into a horizontal canister on the top of the unit. Its an ecowater systems unit. I see the drain tube connected to my drainage pipe under my sink.

I found the model number... This looks like the guy.

Can someone who knows some stuff about these help me out with whether or not this is a decent system?

It says its supposed to have a storage tank... mine doesn't. (probably a good reason as to why it doesn't work)

There is a hose busted off at that point. Also, I don't see an electronic box under my sink with the other. Is mine pretty much worthless now?

the filterguys have great customer service. a quick call and they could set you up with a rebuild kit or a nice new unit for about 150.
