If tan-green is enough to satisfy you, then I would just order one from LA. The one I have from them turned pretty green under Kessil LEDs.
I definitely wouldn't pay a premium for a lime green only to have it turn brown on me - that's pretty much what happened with all my purple gigs. It's not that they are no longer purple on the tips, but the brown is clearly dominant.

I think your best bet is to have your LFS order one for you. They're not rare per se, just many LFS don't order them because they don't want to hold them due to the high mortality rate and -- as we know quite well -- a majority of them won't survive without treatment.
By the way, green gigs are my favorite because they actually do remain bright green. Unlike the blue and purple gigs which eventually turn brown with accent colors as Thomas mentioned, it appears that the zoox within a green gig is a lighter brown or possibly even green, which gives it a more even green color.

I don't think you have to treat it from the start, just have a QT tank ready and put it right into QT so you can observe it. Then, if you need to treat it, you'll be ready to go.
You will need to put it into your QT, even if just for observation.Sounds like a good plan. My QT has terrible lighting so I'm hoping to not need it.
Get a Mars aqua LED light from eBay. It's what I use over my QTs. It's actually putting out more light than the Kessil LEDs over my DTs. Only downside of them is that they are not out of the box Apex controllable.
