Anyone know what is/isnt legal to keep in Thailand

I live Here I want to know are there any animals in the marine trade that will get me into trouble(with the law) if I keep them.
Or can any one suggest where I could find such info I have tried google extensively.
You can buy all sorts but I am worried some things mat be illegal to keep

Any help welcome

I thought everything was legal in Thaliand.

I would call your minister of environment or agriculture. I am sure you going to stir up some red tape. I don't know of anything that is exported out of Thaliand to the US coral or fish wise.

Nothing is exported in the way of MO, Andy :D

I'd contact your Minister of Fisheries first, then try what Andy has suggested. Typically, the Minister of Fisheries (or what ever it is in your country) is the one with the authority over the ocean, and it's uses. If your farming corals, shrimp, etc, land based, the Minister of Agriculture/Environment would definitly be a great place to start.

Thanks for the help
After some research I have found that it is illegal to keep anemones, hard corals, sea fans and some species of fish. However you can get all of the above and they are readily avaliable. However if caught selling or buying you will be fined somewhere in the region of 40,000 baht. Thailand does not export any coral and has only recently started exporting captive raised clownfish, no wild caught fish.

You can however keep all soft corals mushys zoos sponges.
I find it very confusing and fuzzy how they have come to these conclusions and wonder if the aptasia i have will land me with a large fine?
