Sorry to hear. It's tough to try to QT three at once. Did you end up separating them? Can you let us know your QT process? Do you have any photos?
Hopefully we can use this as a learning experience.

I followed the instruction from Minh and qt each of them separately. I sold one to my friend and gave him the instruction Two of mine had gone through 10 days of treatment and 4 additional days in the qt.
Water was changed and med was added everyday at night before turning off the light. Unfortunately, they didn't make it. $$$ -> down the drain.
Problem: All three gigs arrived not in a good condition. 2 were probably 4/10 and 1 was 5/10.
Lesson learn: this hobby costs $$$$$ :headwally::headwally:
I would rather buy a healthy one.
I honestly question how useful cipro is. My belief is that the vast majority that survive would have survived whether they were treated or not. I know for me personally I’ve treated 6 and the only one that survived was one that I didn’t think needed to treated in the first place. I’m over on the east coast though so I think having them shipped from a fish store on the west coast when they are already not in top shape probably finishes them off.
My current two I bought established ones for a high price but I still think it comes out cheaper in the long run.

you cant be serious.
Cipro have saved countless anemones. but it is NOT the magic bullet that will save them all. the thing with failed Cipro treatment is due to prior treatment by the vendor. some dont treat properly and when they come to you the bacteria already developed Resistance to the drug and the added stress and then physical damage is what caused failures.
i believe if the nem is shipped to me straight from the ocean and if i treat it, the success rate would be much higher.

I can tell you that prior to 2014, you can count the number of long term Gigantea keep by RC members on one maybe two hands. Now they are too numerous to count. I myself have been trying to keep Gigantea since 1997. Never have success until I treat them. I was able to keep Magnifica since 1998.

Thanks. Can you show me how to upload pics in here just like how you did with the gig? Mine came out to as an attachment and quality sucks. Also I have to click on to the attachment to view the pic. :headwally:

You'll need to upload your photos to a site like Imgur. From there you use the link the site provides to insert the photos into your post.
When you want to insert a photo in your post, you click on the icon that looks like a mountain and sun (14th icon from the left if I counted correctly). Then, paste the link that the site provides. Make sure that you preview your post before submitting to make sure the link works.
