Anyone notice FWE kills redbugs too?

I've come down with the dreaded AEFW and been dipping my frags. I have redbugs as well that i have the interceptor for, just have not treated. With each strong dip of FWE at 5X strength or higher, it also kills off the redbugs. I don't know for sure if it gets them all, but everytime i dip there are many redbugs floating around in the water afterwards. I've noticed this stuff kills worms, brittle stars and pods at this strength as well. Not so good as a whole tank treatment IMO.

Anybody else have similar results?

yep. Doesn't kill them all but I had a similar experience at that high of a dose...

Then again, it didn't kill all of my flatworms either.

Um, not topic but I hope you dont think that flatworm exit is the cure for the aefw. You need the interceptor for both.

im pretty sure that interceptor is useless against AEFW. i could be wrong though. for AEFW you will need to use something like tropic marin pro coral cure. i just QT my corals for 4 weeks, and dipped 3 times, and i will have to wait and see but i think my AEFW problem might be solved....

Ok, well maybe Im not keeping up with the coral times, lol. So interceptor isnt the cure aefw's or red bugs. But tropic marin is now. Isnt tropic marin basically an iodine dip? And if so, what about lugols?

I don't think anyone said interceptor doewsn't work for red bugs. I think they are saying it is useless for AEFW.
