Anyone picking up the new Jebao pumps

Borchers

Reefer Who needs Help!!!
So they are releasing a style of pump. It's like MP series or such. Looks awesome. New controller and new designs. Very close to a real Vortech pump. I'm wanting to go with 2 of the mid size pumps.

With a dose pump I would be careful would not like one of your supplements dumping.

Pacific sun has a nice doser.

I was planning to do a group buy for the RW-power heads through the distributor I previously bought from. However, I dont believe that they will have them till closer to August. It is one day shipping from her though and she does give a 90 day warranty.

Yes, from what I've read the new RW pumps are master/slave compatible (can link up to 8 pumps)

I'm interested in a pair of the RW-8's... not sure if I want to hold out until August for a possible group buy, but I will try to be patient lol :bounce1:

You guys could try reefbreeders for a groupbuy. We had one for our area they were in stock and shipped a few days after payment. The pumps were in hand less than a week after.

This is what happens when chinese copy an item another company spend 1000s perfecting it. The pump itself is also on copy right infringement of hydor pump

Dude u can't call it a copy of anything all powerhead look similar with the designed. Now the riptide is different and the ecotech has a motor on the outside.

Just since the new one has wider flow means nothing to copyright since the grate cannot be copy written it's a basic design.

So your argument is invalid as many other have said the same argument.

I don't think we need you going off topic ! :deadhorse: :eek2:

Nice to see that jebao is creating a new powerhead that is completely their own design. Yeah it looks kinda like other pumps but I have to say this new one is a "new design" of some sort. The wp version pumps were basically tunzes (non tunze owners couldn't even tell the difference). These new ones look pretty nice. I would even "try" them, but for equipment that my tank rely on for life support, I just don't know if I would trust this brand long term. But everyone has their own experience and their own opinion, and what someone chooses to use for their tank is entirely up to them. ;)
For me....... I'll stick to my tunzes and vortech..... for now.....

Really!

I'm not a paid member so I'm not able to see or join it. It's cool. I'm gonna get ahold of the Fish Street guys myself.

Do you think a pair of RW-15's would be too much for a 90g 48x18x25" aquarium, or should I go with the RW-8's? :crazy1:
