Saw this as i was surfing. Six way test strip. The idea is to dunk one strip in the water and get a near instant reading on Alkalinity, Nitrate, Nitrite, Hardness, Ammonia and pH.
I have not but after confirming that they work in saltwater (they do) I will be stopping at PetsMart and getting a bottle. I wll cross test them against my traditional testing and post results
I had freshwater test sticks, and the results I got from those varied a decent amount from the standard liquid test kit.
Its not always like this, but do remember (as in this case) you get what you pay for.

These strips are advertised by the manufacturer to work in salt water. I will see today. I wil post one way or the another. I don't see why it would not work. And if is accurate for NO2 and NO3 it wil mean that I test more often
