Anyone Use Kolor Scape Sand from HD

Went to Home Depot this morning and found tropical white playsand named Kolor Scape. It was distributed by Oldcastle Retail Inc. Charlotte, NC. Is this the old South Down?

I think it is. Southdown used to be called Old Castle Sand, both were labeled as "Tropical Playsand". If you really wanna test, you can just purchase a bag, pour some vinegar on it, and watch it fizzle. Fizzle = good, no fizzle = bad.

Thanks for the info, HD said that they get shipments in regularly. I think that I will give it a try. Is there any other sand that is out there?

I think that's the safest one out there, from what I'm reading. I am always looking for sand. I can not imagine why schools all over the place, with sand boxes, use anything that may be harmful to children. I wonder what thy generally use in them, could be something worth trying.
