Anyone use the iceprobe or nano ICA 2.0?

Hey guys, my nanos are starting to heat up, especially my 6g. Was wondering if these things actually work. If so, does anyone have spares laying around?

my 6g got up to 84 last night, i modded the hood to hold 2 18w bulbs with no hood fans. i have an 8" clip on fan pointing at the hood and into the vent on the side but it only does so much. Don't want to open the lid because that defeats the purpose.

also have a 24g nano open top. since i put in two koralia 1's the lights off temp is running at 81. (my apartments stays pretty warm year round)

I'd like to bring the tanks down to around 77-78 all day.

More than trying to lower your temperature, try to stabilize it with a heater so it does not fluctuate.

i'd rather cool it off constantly to 78 than raise my heater to run it at 84. the problem is the tank is getting too hot. the heater never even turns on.

Don't have any spares but the ICA's and IceProbes will help bring your temps down. It's hard to say how much in your system but mine helps 3-5 degrees.
