Anyone want a nasty crab?

Got this bad boy out of my tank finally. I am assuming he is a gorilla crab.
He has really hairy legs, purplish body (is it coralline maybe?) and is about 2 inches across.
I will try and post pics if people really want to see.
Don't want him, but don't really want to kill him either.

I'm such a dork. I went and took the nasty crab to the LFS to see if he wanted it, and to confirm that he's bad.
Well, he told me he has a trigger he can feed it to....and for some strange reason, I couldn't leave it there.
So, I took it back.

Then I said I would try and make an orphanage for him. This guy was rather big, and I thought he made it this far, it's a shame to kill him.

Just another of the goofy things I've done in this hobby.

How non reef safe are crabs? I found a pretty good size one in a garbage can when I cooked a batch of rock. Hes in my sump for now. Dangerously close to my return pump.

I think most of them are not reef safe, especially when they get bigger. Some I heard take down fish as well.

You got me there.

Not yet. I'm waiting for some steel to come in to make the dropped bumpers. Can't wait to roll by John Q. Law without getting pulled over! Take that coppers! :uzi:

Im in crystal lake and would love to house him. I work at an un-named store in the area and take all of creatures that are nasty and mean, then i throw them into my aquapod to let them survive. I have some wierd stuff so far, lmk if your close to me id be glad to pic it up.
