Anyone with a fish trap? Elk Grove/South Sac

Need to catch some quick damsels and a few other fishes but the 2 liter coke bottle is working (a shrimp actually went in there and died within a few hours... ) I've borrowed a clear cylinder in the past from another member, but didn't want to bother him again, so if someone has one laying around please let me know.

use a 4" net and a turkey baster and slowly squirt food in the net while its 3-4" below the surface. the fish will learn this is the only way they will get food and will go in.

Depending on what the other fish feed on and how quickly you need them out...

You could begin feeding by net. Our fish swim right into it after a couple weeks of that.

take a two liter bottle cut the top off, invert it and plastic tie it to the larger part of the bottle. Insert food, put in tank and BINGO fish caught....it might not be the fish you want but its fun!

thanks for the net trick! i've tried the 2 liter bottle method and the only thing that went in there was a shrimp and it died for some odd reason...
