I've been shying away from zoas also, but thought what the heck, It seems ,to me if the zoa is coming from the wild there survival rate is way low, I spent some money on some hawaiian zoas only to have them melt away a few months after...
Check the main display when you first walk in, there is a hunk of them still in there. The ones I have in my tank have never opened up, had them for ~2 months, still nubs.
