Apartment Fire Pics

Well i know this isnt reef related, but thought some might be interested on the photography forum. A little background is that a fire in my apartment complex, two apartment buildings down from mine went up in flames on Saturday night. Luckily everyone, including pets got out in time, the bad news can be seen by the pictures, luckily noone was hurt. I arrived home around 45 minutes after the fire started, so the main flames where out, but still a lot of activity going on.

man that is terrible. i'm glad that no one got hurt and that it wasnt your building!

i hope you sent some of those pictures in to the local newspaper - i bet they would have used them!

thanks all, i was thinking of sending them to the paper, but i just edited them last night (monday) and the fire was on Satuday, so i think it would be too late, heck, maybe ill send them in anyway.

thanks again,

Jeff

Those are some great pictures.

It's kind of ironic how something nice came out of something to horrible.

I realy like the pictures taken the day after, i like how the water that was used is now all frozen...

I was thinking the exact same thing.

you did a nice job with the pictures !!!

its a shame the fire happened though, hope all those people make out ok ...

You should have called this thread "Fire & Ice".

To be honest, your shots seem pleasant, no doubt because of how you have them framed. They seem upbeat, rather than depressing - at least to me.

Nice job on the photography, and I'm sorry to see some lost their homes and possessions.

Fire and Ice, that would have been a nice name. There was truly nothing pleasant about it though, however, it is truly unbeleivable on how something so nice (Ice Pics) can come out of something so nasty.

Thanks for looking,

Jeff
