Apex Android App

V 0.29 posted to the market with ACiii control support and a first cut at graphing. The graph is currently hardcoded to the first probe that listed in the XML file.

I will obviously be adding the ability to select which probe to graph. Also looking into the ability to overlay multiple probes but the graphing library I an using doesn't support two different y-scales. With the current library, I would have to normalize the second graph to the same range values as the first graph. You could see the shape of the second but the values would be meaningless.

Also, the graphs act strangely if there is no data or all data points are the same so beware if you have only a couple of data points or they are very stable (like exact stable).

Just down loaded the update and yes it does act weird,The graphs flash and roll sporadically when i touch the screen.

This was my first time with this specific graphing library. I went with it because it was supposed to allow pinch and zoom. I will try to get it more stable.

Ok I need to do a port forwarding on my netgear router so I can use my HTC EVO (sprint customer) to be able to access my apex anyone that can help me with this please chime in on this as I am lost on this

thanks in advance

Henery,
nice jop on the app, it look sweet. can more then one contiler be added. i have an apex and a ac3. when i added the ac3 it give force close , removed the ac3 and it works fine. again thanks for the work your crew put into it.

Yes, multiple controllers are supported. Should work fine with the ACiii but there is a restriction that there are no duplicate or blank outlet names. Not even "unused" can be duplicated.

Also it has to have a later version of FW that support xml status.

Trying going to your controller with a "/cgi-bin/status.xml" on the end to confirm the XML is supported. Something like http://your.domain.com/cgi-bin/status.xml

are you talking about duplicate names between the controllers or just with in each contoller. ac3 has the lastest firm ware.

bump for today

wvreef: Create a new thread, since your issue is not directly pertaining to the Android app. In that new thread, post screen shots of what you've tried for the port forwarding in the router. Also, post a screen shot of the Apex network settings

Dad, yes, I will add that.

Insomniac, I'll PM you to work through it. Have you tried it on a pre-ICS phone yet? I had one report of ICS tablet working but one doesn't make a trend. Wondering if it something specific to your configuration or a more general problem.

My ICS tab was one of the ones that worked on your first tablet capable release. The newest does not. Im going to remove it and re-DL the app just to make sure in a bit
