APEX Calcium Reactor Set-Up/Program

Few questions.....

I've got my second pH probe connected to the pH/ORP connection on my EB8. I've calibrated it with 4.0 and 7.0 p H solution. I have my APEX port forwarded using www.dyndns.com, but cannot access the port via my home computer (due to it being on the same wireless network?), so how do I program the port on my EB8 that my CO2 solenoid is connected too via the pH probe that's connected to the pH/ORP connection?

Can I monitor the second pH probes pH level or will it just show up as ORP on my controller?

Can somebody give me an idea where the pH should be in my reactor? I think I've been told 6.7-6.8'ish?

Can somebody tell me what they are using as their Ca reactor "program" for controlling the CO2 tank solenoid?

Thanks.

I assume you are referring to the base unit, as the EB8 does not have pH/ORP ports.

You need to enable the pH port through the display unit menus.

You only need to use DynDns when accessing from outside your network. When on your network, use the IP address that you have assigned to the Apex (assuming you are using static IP).

so how do I program the port on my EB8 that my CO2 solenoid is connected to...?
Once you have access from your home network (or internet acess from outside), use menu Configuration > Outlet Setup and select the outlet from the drop-down list.

I don't use a CaRx, so I can't help there; however, before doing anything, read the Unofficial User's Guide that is stickied at the top of the forum. It has a wealth of information on setting up and programming the Apex.
