Apex Firmware Release Candidate Beta 4.20 CA12 Now Available

I've had the same problem with all the beta's, but it only happens on my work PC's. Have tried IE9, Chrome, and Safari. Every other PC displays it correctly as do my iPad and Android phone. I've assumed it is something installed on the work PC's, but have not traced down exactly what it is. It may also be something the work firewall is doing.

Okay i've been on this latest firmware for the last couple of days now and I'm having trouble getting the real time graphing to display on the probes in different browsers.

I'm using the latest version of Chrome and everything works fine except for the graphing. The graph part of the probes box is just empty. Doesn't show in IE either.

The only time I have seen it is when I pull the Apex page up with the ipad's Safari browser or with one of the alternate browsers I have on the iPad. In fact, the chrome version of the ipad browser showed it I believe.

Anyhow have this kind of problem? Not being able to see graphs in various browsers? Please help.

is 4.20 CA12 now general release? The neptune site shows 4.20 as the current firmware. When downloading it, the file is 4.20_CA12.zip. Is this the same as the last beta or did they change something? Just wondering if I am already running the beta that was CA12, should I reinstall this one?

thanks,

Mike

4.20_CA12 was a release candidate which Neptune apparently decided was stable and is now a general public release. No, you don't need to update if you already have CA12 already running.

I just noticed that the dashboard does not show all my switches.

I am missing the icon for the set connected to a PM2 on address 10.

I have the following modules:

Disp_1
Disp_2
EB8_3
PM1_4
PM2_5
EB8_6
EB8_8
EB8_9
PM2_10

I have breakout boxes hooked up to the Apex, PM1_4 and PM2_10.

The dashboard shows switches for the Apex, x4 and x5. There are none for x10. I only have a waterbug on the switch on x10 and previously made a virtual outlet for it. It seems to work. I have it programmed for:"

If Switchx10_6 OPEN Then ON

If I disconnect the breakout box (or try some water on the waterbug), I get my email alert. It has been a while since I setup the water bug.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Mike

I reported the missing switch tiles a couple releases back. Apparently this bug isn't critical to Neptune as they didn't fix it for the released code.

Problem with "?" In URL of Camera

Problem with "?" In URL of Camera

Hello,

I am having a problem when I set up all my tiles and get the camera working I save and quit and when I go Back in it looses all the settings.

My Camera is Panasonic BL-C131A

The URL is this:
http://192.168.1.220/nphMotionJpeg?Resolution=640x480&Quality=Clarity

This is the only way I get it to work at all. And I cannot seem to get the "?" out of the URL.

Any Idea why? How to Fix?

Thanks,

John

I haven't updated my Apex's firmware for a while, currently running 4.05_4D11. Is it safe to go straight to the 4.20?

Are the any plans on making this work with Panasonic IP cams? Mine requires the ? in the URL as well...

No Russ, have not tried other browsers. I am not willing to do that. I am running IE9 on a Vista machine. I wonder if maybe I have a setting in IE that needs changing? It looks as if another person was having the same problem with that syntax but a different camera. It was the entry by Bradam in your list of compatible cameras on Reeftronics.
Is it possible I have a setting wrong in the Linksys setup for the camera? I am open to any suggestions other than another browser. I would think that it would work with the most popular browser in use. Maybe not.

the most popular browser in the US.

but not anywhere else, secondly, you are using the worst operating system ever invented, cant find the stat for that one though :debi:
