One thing I noticed this morning.......with my embedded camera. I get a picture, but no streaming. Here is my local address and camera:
http://192.168.1.102:80/img/video.mjpeg
The camera is a Linksys WVC54GCA
Any ideas?
No - you have the right URL. Have you tried with more than one browser?Does the "img" in the URL line have anything to do with it?

Now I know why you asked about another browser. I have been reading that IE does not support img/video.mjpeg without using Active X or another third party. I am not computer savy enough to do this, so I will settle for just a picture at this time. If anybody knows a work around, please let me know.
Using Chrome or Firefox is the work around. Do yourself a favor and dump IE and use a different browser. All the main browsers are more secure and I'll bet you'll find you don't need to be more computer savvy. While better now then in the past, IE wants to do things it's own special way and tends to not conform to simple standardized code. (As exampled above by your findings) In today's world of mobile devices, Macs, and multiple browsers, we will see more and more programmers not conforming to the IE needs as they once did so you may as well join the future![]()
It shows 4.20 CA12 but the interface hasnt changed a bit. Still old school.
I've cleared the cache on 3 different browsers, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.
I've tried loggin in from both my Lan and thought the internet. Nothing.
please help
