Apex not connecting to fusion after update

I'm having issues with my apex classic after updating it. The apex is hardwired and my laptop was also hardwired during the update. The firmware updated perfectly fine but when I went to update the webpages I couldn't get it to work. Kept getting a "aihost.bin could not upload" message. I went to fusion to see if it was still working and got a "not connected to fusion" message. Turns out, after the firmware update, the IP address changed on my apex and now I can't get it to connect at all. I tried the restart button, unplugging it, etc. My laptop can still find it, on the new IP address, but I can't even re-update the firmware.

When i retry to update the firmware i get a "controller login failed" and "failed unlock attempt" until it times out.

My router IP is 192.168.1.1
The apex IP currently is 192.168.0.222
The apex USED to be 192.168.1.155
I did not have access to the classic dashboard before the update.

I had some MAJOR issues with my apex before hardwiring it, but since it's been wired in, it has been working fine. Any help?

So I finally figured out how to configure the apex IP and changed the zero to a one and was able to update both the firmware and web pages and also access the classic dashboard. I still had the no comm/communication error though. I went back to the configuration window and noticed my default gateway also had a zero. Changed THAT to a one and now EVERYTHING is working. Jesus, this thing drives me up a wall sometimes hahahah

I sure you could get good answers here but the above are the "specialists"
