APEX + router + Nobreak

Hello,

My router is plugged on a No-break.

What i want is simple!
I just want that the APEX send me an e-mail when a outage occurs. It´s also necessary to connect the APEX on a nobreak?

Tks

You have a choice of 2 power sources for the controller - a 12vdc input and the Aquabus out of an EB8. Either can supply power and either can be monitored for a power disruption. You need one or the other to be on non-battery power so the Apex can sense a power failure.

Is that what you were asking?

+/-!
I want to connect all the system in a battery backup. The EB8 will be connected on backup and all staff will be connected on the EB8.

So when an outage occur, all the system stay working.

Then put the EB8 on your battery backup. Take a 12vdc transformer and plug it into a non-regulated wall outlet. That's how you'll know power is out but since the EB8 is running off battery (and everything else runs off the EB8) nothing loses power except that 12v transformer. Make sure you put your router and modem on the battery backup as well. The code you'd put in your email alarm outlet would be:

If Power Apex 000 OFF Then ON

Make sure you enable the supplemental power option.
