Apogon leptacanthus

Does anyone think that the Longspine Cardinalfish (Apogon leptacanthus)
would be a safe seahorse tank mate?? The tank is a 30g. Cube and plans are for 4 Seahorses and 2 Longspine Cardinal's (the tank is actually going to be about 40 gallons b.c. of the 20H sump)...

I don't see the cardinal being aggressive towards the seahorse, but I do see it as a competitor for food with the seahorse. Mine loves to eat and is very quick to chase the food down. If I were you I would keep it a species tank of seahorses.

They would be fine. I just squirt some food to the fish first and then I feed the horses while the fish are eating theirs.
