AQIII RSH Access

Since the aquacontroller 3 has a telnet server, I was wondering if they supported RSH. Also, are there any plans to support native wireless access? Lastly, is Tunze Stream native support on the horizon? It would seem people would be more apt to buy a Neptune controller with Tunze compatibility verses the limited Tunze multicontroller.

Thanks for the info.

He's on the coast so I don't think he'll be on until 9 or so PST. But if you want a faster response send him an email as he doesn't get to the board that much. He does come by but not near as fast as an email. Sometimes emails are answered in minutes.

We don't have any plans to add rsh; I personally don't see a big enough benefit. The current generation of controllers will not have wireless access. There is just no way we can add wireless access and compete price wise w/ a ethernet to bridge. Bridges are under $50 now, and the prices continue to go down.

Curt,

Thanks for the feedback. What about the Tunze native control? From my understanding, there are 5 pins going from the Tunze controller to the powerhead "Driver".

(Pins 1, 4, 5 are assumed)
1 - Controller Power
2 - 8v Signal Minus
3 - 8v Signal Plus
4 - Signal Ground
5 - Controller Ground

The aquacontroller would just have to send this 8volt signal to the "Driver" to cut out the Tunze controller. Then we could used the wave make function and feed timer from the aquacontroller. I know this feature is probably MUCH easier said than done, but it would defiantly influence my purchasing decision.

A less involved method I believe I have read in this forum is using the "photo cell" port on the Tunze 7091 controller.
