The skimmer was not originally designed to skim wet when using the recommended pump. I would recommend that you move to the next size up on pumps if you want the wet stuff.<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=6499217#post6499217 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by skippysmind
I'm not at all impressed with my EV-180 skimmer. i get about a cup per week, i can't ever get wet skimmate. it just doesn't seem to be all that they claim

I have Ran AquaC for some time now.. I am Extremely Impressed with it... I had a Deltec ap1003 on the tank and To be truthful the AquaC pulls out more and Stinkier Skimmate off the tank the the Deltec did.. My current one is an EV400 running with a GenX pcx40... I have no problems getting skimmate at all from my unit... People who have seen my skimmer have liked the performance of it as well... It may have been the Deltec being an Euro model but IMO the AquaC outperformed it pretty good...
