AQUA IONIZER ,,it`s an inline product with no pumps or lighting

Has anyone used this product on their reef tanks and if so would you share your comments about it ?
it`s supposed to reduce water changes by 75%
reduce algae growth
eliminate ammonia
increase trace element availability
increase lighting penetration
and replace the need for a skimmer
along with many other benefits of use

I understand the theory of it,,through magnetism it changes the water molecule structure, I know it was developed first for drinking water before aqauria use, and it has very great reviews,,but like so many items with great reviews I have bought, after buying them I find they don`t live up to the hype, so I thought I would look here where I can get an honest opinion before I waste money ,,Thanks Thomas

Although I'll admit I found some of their claims quite entertaining...

  • Separation of Oxygen atom allows for immediate oxidation of impurities
  • Oxygen atom can and will be more easily absorbed by fishes
  • Toxins released and become free-floating for easier & effective removal
  • Nutrients and Trace elements can be diffused for easier selective uptake by coral
  • Surface Tension is reduced so carbon dioxide & other gases like nitrates can escape
  • Halogens such as Na+Cl- become freed up to naturally sterilize contaminants
Beyond the absurdity of their claims, if it truly provided ANY of the stated benefits - We'd all have them.

Do you mean Aqua Equalizer? And yeah what Tom said. I actually used to maintain a system that had one on it. I didn't notice any miracle difference. I still had to maintain the tank as normal.

it`s called the aqua ionizer, has it`s own trademark, has it`s own website, and it uses no pumps or electric, no infrared ,,I`m new to the forums here as far as posting goes, I don`t know if I am allowed to post links to it or not. but the word (aqua ionizer) in a search engine brings it right up,,it has reviews from zoo`s to pet stores to aqaurium magazines, they say it`s like having a 24 hr maid in your tank, guess it`s supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread, lol, thanks for the reply` s so far ,, Thomas

Just use the search to search for "Eco Aquilizer", Aqua ionizer IS Eco Aqualizer (they even use the name interchangeably on their own site) and it is one of the longer running shams in the hobby. If you really want to do the same thing yourself just tape some cheap refrigerator magnets to a scrap piece of PVC pipe as that is exactly what is inside the Eco Aquilzer and it'll do the exact same thing (which is nothing). ;)

thanks for that reference I did`nt know they were cross naming their own product everywhere, I went and looked and it is the exact same people,,glad I asked before I bought, thanks,,,,,
