Aqua Life refused MARS membership

I was really supprised when Aqua Life in Rocklin turned down the normal discount when I bought some food there this afternoon.

They said they no longer offer the discount on food items.

It's not that big of a deal, and it's nice to have LFS's that give us a discount at all, but just though it was worth noting to other members.

They said they still honor it for dry goods and livestock.

steve were sorry but are food items are as low as they can be but yes we will offer it on anything else other than salt

I'm not complaing, like I said we are lucky to get a discount at all, but just wanted to let others know so they don't get hit with the supprise.
I didn't know that about the salt either, so good info, thanks.

Most stores do no honor discount on salt. I guess they have low markup on the salt as well.
