Aqua Medic 3000 doser tubing?

I was going to set up my Aqua Medic dosing pump inline with a Kalk Stirrer tonight. I pulled it out of the box, lubed and installed the rubber tubing and realized.....I had no idea what kind of tubing to use on the "Nipples" on the in and out flow of the unit. Is it airline tubing? 1/4 poly tubing?

Looks pretty small to me and the directions don't state it anywhere that I can find. As usual, the Aqua Medic manuals are somewhat lacking. I'm hoping someone around the forum has used one before...help please...
