Shop is looking really nice these days. I was pleasantly surprised. Walked out of there with a few fish as well.

Yes they are. I'm heading there on Sunday for RODI and see if there are any interesting coral.

I've picked up 9 fish from them and still have 8(one jumper) over the last 9 months. Been happy with the service and health of the fish. The prices on coral though is absolutely insane in my opinion.

Yeah I agree the coral is expensive but being the only other lfs in the area I believe they're taking advantage of that. I also asked and they get their new livestock in on fridays and I'm sure they could try and order you almost anything.

Yes they will special order anything they can get for you depending on season. I had Hari order me a Lettuce Nudibranch once and got it no problem. Unfortunately it died after it ate all of my bryopsis and I couldn't supplement it with anything else.

I went by there with my daughter to kill time. They have some interesting acrylic tanks that were thick, like 1.5 inch thick! Like to see how they are going to be used.

Update:

I lost the little clown. He got wedged in the teeth of the overflow somehow, and I found him too late. Total bummer. Now on to some good news....

The staff was right on in their recommendations as to what would work with my current stock list. I have to admit I had my doubts, but I am happy to report after about 36 hours of relentless chasing and attacks, mostly for show no real damage, the 2 expensive newcomers have integrated into the general population and pecking order. The newcomers are....

Laboutts wrasse
Red Sea Midas blenny.

Furthermore, as a testament to them and their supplier, who I won't name publicly but PM me if you're curious, both fish were eating prepared frozen and pellet food from day one. A great experience all way around.

Not my pics.

Thanks all. I got to put a plug in for that labouts fairy wrasse. That fish is SO friendly and outgoing. When I feed the tank it's him and my foxtail duking it out to eat the frozen food out of my fingers. VERY cool and FUN fish.
