Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

Thanks guys.

Austin, they have not been epoxied. Once I finish transferring my corals from my other tank, I will work on the layout better. When they are in their final position, I like using gel glue over epoxy.

Thanks Moses. It has been over time. The pinkish-purple one in front I bought almost 3 years ago and it was my first Rhizotrochus typus. The white with stripes 2 years ago and the other two last year.

Thanks guys!

I am very satisfied with the quality of the Artisan tank. Seam work, beveled glass, and overall quality of the tank is hard to beat in it's price range. I can see the tank taking off to be the next "Solana". In addition, it also can be the tank of choice when Solana owners outgrow their current set-up and are looking to upgrade but not step into the ELOS price range.

Still working on the Aquascaping, I think it is coming along well. Gorgonians are are starting to open up since I transferred them from my 24.

The white one I got last summer. For growth: it regrew the base that was damaged and a section that was missing from it. The purple one was a recent purchase this year so it too soon to say. My gorgonians are a little stressed from the transfer between tanks. I am working on my food/additive dosages since my tank size doubled. I have to insure there is enough food in the water column so they will say open all day. It isn't as easy a just doubling my dosages so it should take a week or less to level everything out.

Nice! Yeah, I'm working on getting my dosages right too as my tank has a total water volume of 300 gallons and its pretty hard. lol

Wow! Awesome!! Remember you said you ordered 2 other feather starfish? Did they survive shipping? Also, how much are you getting that feather starfish for if you don't mind me asking?

That's one of the nicest ones I've seen. I'm gonna have to use your connections when I get my other tank set up.

Moses, the two I ordered originally, didn't survive at the wholesaler before they had a chance to ship them to me. They promised that they should get in two more this coming week. The price for the Crinoids isnt that expensive, it is that you get killed on shipping. They dont offer the shipping prices like Live Aquaria unless you pick up direct from the airport. The other issue with them is that they dont ship well. So we will see.
