Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

Thank you very much Michael! That's why I sent you the PM the other day ;) I felt it was only fair. I knew that what was coming in would be taken care of properly and go to a good home.
Now, I am waiting patiently waiting for a few other fish on my list

Polyps full with Cyclop-eeze

Mike

pink mouth's it has!! ......
Thats the Cyclop-eeze I bet :)

Good stuff, can't wait to start adding difficult species, thats atleast another month away though.

That is correct.

I use their color to my advantage. When the polyps are no longer show any more signs of being pink, the colony is fed again.

How do you like your new lens? What one did you get again?
I stopped in a reef creation today. Was really impressed with the high end coral collection they have. Didn't have much to offer in terms of corals we keep though. I did pick up a 4 bulb led light from them though.
Did greg ever call you about the new Crinoids he got in?

The lens I picked up is a Tamron 90mm. The lens is great, it is the operator behind the camera isn't. I took a ton of pics with the lens but I am only satisfied with one or two.

Which LED's did you pick up from them?

Thanks for reminding my about Greg. I will follow up with him. He was suppose to call me after his shipment came in last week. Did you raid it before me?

Mike

I saw the goodies, If you need something cherry picked from him I might be able to tell him what ones. I think he has atleast 6 in now. I'm waiting till after my honeymoon to add stuff that needs fed multiple times per day. Can't give the fish sitter that kind of work for a week straight, lol.

He's got a nice 6-8 head Balno colony that is eating well. Looks like the one I posted a month or so back. Then orange one that looks like a Dendro but has oval polyps. Its eating well for greg and he only wants 89 for it. If you call for it it's the one in the green house in the zero edge tank. I'm going to have him get me a baby basket star. He has great connections for the non photo stuff. If there's something special you want Im sure he can get it.

Need to speak to him about the crinoids, wanted to pick up atleast 3. For corals, I am going to hold off for a little while to see what non-photosynthetic stuff is coming in new this year from West Africa & Australia.

Finding a good fish sitter is hard. Whoever sits my tank gets an entire schedule given to them on paper and via MS Outlook.

Im going to Dr fosters and smiths on June 19th for a tour, Im hoping to stock up with some divers den goodies while I'm there.

Let me know when you frag that baby, and how much shipped to 44035 :) It's got to be my favorite coral since getting back into non photo.

On a different note, if you have a chance pick up April's issue of Freshwater and Marine Aquarium. There is a few articles on non-photosynthetic corals.
