Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

Every time I see how massive the corals in the ocean are it makes me realize there's limitations on NPS tanks that will never be exceeded by home aquarists.

Got in last night from Vegas and overall my tank does not look that bad. Just need to make up for a week of not direct feeding my corals. Fish sitter broadcast feed the aquarium.

Also there is a new addition to my aquarium...Lubbockichthys multisquamatus...Fine-scaled dottyback.

The video does the fish no justice...try to have the pictures up later.

I also stopped by my fishsitter house, squared away my bill (dont worry I counter the beers in my beer refrigerator prior to paying him ;)) and pick up a Tubastrea from him that he has had problems getting it to extend it polyps (slight recession too). Only cost me 2 extra Stone Brewing Co. Imperial Russian Stout. Nothing is better than trading corals for beer...God I love America!

A updated video of my Dendrophyllia gracillis. It is continued to be hand feed (well last week it wasnt while I was away). Polyps are accepting food but no polyp extension yet. It is stubborn like my other colony was.

Your patience is admirable. If it were in my hands I would be cursing it and yelling "eat or die, your choice!"

Thank you Mike as you know this isnt a task for everyone. It can be fustrating but it also exciting. Each day waiting for the polyps to open, like a child on Christmas eve. It makes me wonder how much energy does it required for the polyps to open or should I say, how much energy for a colony of this size to open? But when it does open...there is a double of Johnnie Blue waiting for me.
