Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

Yeah... he wrote an article on gorgonians back in '06. Oddly enough after the talk I picked up a copy of Reef Hobbist Magazine and saw Todd's old nps tank at Atlantis being used in an advertisement on the back cover. :)

Just for the record... The music in the spawning video was Flight of the Concords' "Business Time".... awesome song!

Thanks Ashleigh for clearing that up :) I suck with music. The track fit perfectly with the video. It was really very nice to meet you this weekend at the MR Fall Swap and I need make sure I head out to Atlantis soon.

It was great meeting you too!! Absolutely get out to Atlantis soon... It's a lot of fun, and I know Todd would be glad to show you around.

Mike, there is an orange distichopora on DD that is calling your name...

I would buy it but I'm trying to save up for an AI LED light to replace my super hot 250w MH on my seagrass tank :)

Thanks for the heads up  I am not going to tell you how difficult it was trying to place the order by texting with one hand while driving on the parkway...but I got it. Wanted to make sure it went through first before I replied :) I came across another baby red crinoid today at a local pet store (about an inch across), dirt cheap, at 15 bucks so I had to grab it.

Never can have to much orange :D
Really?

:lmao: Joost...ok maybe there is a limit to how much orange one can take.

Since on the topic of annoying fruit

Hopefully it arrives in good condition. The blue one I recently got from them was in VERY good health, I can see the polyps out almost all the time. They look like whiskers. I never really saw them on the first one I got from them a long time ago.

It is good to hear the one you picked up with the gorgonian came in well. I will keep my fingers crossed that so will mine. Kevin would not let it leave LA's DD unless it is in great shape. Weather will be cool here in NY so shipping should be fine pending UPS' safe handling of it.

Awesome music selection indeed :) And finding his tank on the back cover was pretty funny as well, good eye ;) I still need to ask them about the photo, I'm pretty sure they've done NERAC in the past.

Thanks! Did you see what is under him ;) Got to try out today a little package that arrived from TB Aquatics, a Hanna Phosphate colorimeter. So far impressed with the tester; calibrate, add packet of reagent, set timer, and in three minutes read. Pretty slick...even gets WAF (No more mad scientist lab in the kitchen anymore). Also when I visited GA today I picked up something new they had in; H2O Life frozen Reef Cavier. It is made from Capelin fish roe and figure I would give it a shot.

Nice aussie sun coral. I miss my suns. Trying to find some nice colonies, but they all look horrible. I might have to special order from my LFS.
