AquaC Remora

Was wondering if anyone had a Aqua remora for sale around the Roanoke area. Just thought I would check before I purchased a new one. I designed my sump to only use a hand on skimmer to leave more room for the fuge.

IMO, the AquaC Remora is junk. I used one for ~ 1 1/2 yr and it hardly skimmed anything.

Definitely don't purchase one new, it's not worth it. If you're dead set on getting one, check the Used Equipment forum. You can get 'em for cheap there.

Yea I have heard that but I have also heard that about every other skimmer out there. I just believe tanks bio loads and feeding habits are more of a factor than skimmer choice.

Well, like I said. You can probably find one in the Used Equipment forum for ~1/2 the cost of new. When I sold my Aqua C Remora Pro with Rio 1400 and preskimmer box, I got ~$125 for it. New from Marine Depot was between $250-300
