Aquacon anemones

They have some beautiful carpets, but I've heard bad things about them. Anybody purchased one?

Trust what you have heard about aquaCON.... emphasis on the second syllable.

That's what I thought.. But their blue carpets look so nice! Better safe than out $200 though.

Those pictures look great... No telling who took them, when, and under who's care they were under at the time of the pics. Long story short those pics are NOT necessarily representative of the livestock/husbandry of Aquacon. And TBH that goes for most all sites. Unless you get a WYSIWYG photo you can be sure the sites choose the prettiest most actinic flooded example of a nem/coral/eyecandy they can find. Even with WYSIWYG photos be aware of the lighting situations that the pics were taken under.

Very true. I just ordered some zoos from Reefs2go that were terrible. Only place I've had luck with is PacificEast.

I have had good success/service from vividaquariums, cherry corals and the old tried and true liveaquaria. Don't hesitate to call companies and ask questions. If they are a reputable dealer they should have no problems answering anything you might ask. ^^^All of those companies are very friendly folks on the phone and went out of there way to help me with my questions/requests .

Just bought a B&W ocellaris snowflake pair from them and had zero problems. Both clowns are beautiful and exactly what was advertised.

No experience with any other items from them.
