yo, Is there any jobs in aquaculture besides starting your own "business"? With degrees in bio/marine I would love to apply that to aquaculturing. Starting a greenhouse is a very good option for me. I would like to look at the business reality. Let us say with constant demand for the absolute most profitable species, what type of profits can be realized on a yearly basis? I would appreciate your thoughts and am a huge fan of your writing.

In the broadest scope of what we may fairly call "aquaculture" I'm assuming if you are like most folks that your interest would exclude food fisheries activity and might better be described as "aquatic science". As such... yes, there is some money to be made and all depends on your willingness to travel or not, capital to invest or not, etc.

You have much research to do here to determine what interests you and how much is enough money to enjoy your preferred standard of living.

I will say though that most jobs in this role/field pay don't pay much enough for a person to build/raise a family on. For childless young folks though... there is opportunity :p

Do seek our a career library at your local college for more information on available jobs and scales of pay.

best of luck in life my friend!

Anthony
