Hello again,
As I said before, I started using AF about 7 weeks ago. I have a Red Sea Reefer 170, nitrate was 2-3, phosphate 0,02-0,03 using NOPOX. Since I changed to AF nitrates climbed to 16 and phosphates to 0,3. I am using Pro Bio S (2 drops daily) and -NP pro ( 4 drops daily). Do you think I should increase even more -NP pro dosing? With my water volume (less than 140 liters) 1-2 drops daily was supposed to be OK. I am also added 1 liter of Siporax since I began using AF products.

Best to post at the AF boards.

Perry, yes I have been following progress as usual at the SPS boards. Looks great as usual and one of the most colorful SPS tanks out there hands down. Keep up the great work.

Thanks Pat,
I just wanted to show that the products do work, I am sorry things did not work out for you man! I think it is important for other users to understand that this system is merely a system to enrich something already working great, in terms of husbandry. If you ever decide to give it another try, please message me, I appreciate hobbyists like you who have class and respect for others. Cheers Pat!!!

I am so very interested in this product line but a bit confused as to where to start.

I'd like to tweak the program to my tanks needs. I am interested in Colour and Growth.
I was thinking of B and E, possibly adding V to the list.

If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

my current tank info is 15g with hob, carbon, floss, and phosguard(when needed)

2 clowns, cuc, shrimp, pom pom
Corals: LPS, birdsnest, stylo, rics, zoas
weekly waterchanges, RS Coral Pro Salt
ESV bionic 2 part and Mag

Phos reads 0 - no current algae issues besides coralline
Nitrates 0-5
CA 420
Alk 9
mag 1220

With only a handful of corals weekly water changes and dosing 2 part. Why complicate things by introduce more products. How old is your tank. I would just stay on course with what you're doing. I would just watch your alk at 9 already and doing weekly water changes that mix high around 12. And dosing 2 part. In a small tank that number can fluctuate very quickly.

Agree with what is stated, many of us tried the AF program. What is right for one isnt right for everyone. I did the AF program it was way too much, i'm a reefer but this program is a bit on the extreme side, drops of this during the day, drops at night, morning. I don't like counting drops, but like i said it could be for you. I won't discourage it, but from my experience I personally was not successful. Many people have been though, just have to ask yourself...are you a lazy reefer or a drop counter, lol.

Good luck either way

In small tank like yours is going to be very hard to dose AF products since 1 drop is for 27 gal. I would rather stick to weekly water changes.

Lol. drop counter.

to be honest the whole program isn't for me, i wouldn't want to be counting drops and logging what I have done/haven't done.

I was only interested in B and E really for added vitamins. i guess I will stick to Aquavitro Fuel.

My tank is about 1.5yrs old. Some of the corals are only a few months old, frags.

Funny you mention the alk at 9.
All the reviews of coral pro say it has high alk. When I tested the water the params were Alk9
ca 400
mag 1220

I tested my tank after water change
Ca 420
alk 9
mag 1220

I have noticed lately that my tank is using up a lot more now than a few mnths back. I test about 2 times a week...

thank you so much, I appreciate the honest opinions.

I don't believe this pro biotics is truly all they are claiming. There is not enough info on this stuff to yet to believe it is not another snake oil claim by another mfg. With stability and correct lighting things can grow quickly on their own without special stuff. This is a pic of one of my digi corals. This is a 1 mo. Colage. Top left when I got it and bottom right today. Pretty substantial growth in a month. I am using good old fashioned reef crystals. Maintain ranges between 350 450 CA 7-9Alk 1350-1400 mag. Im sure there is some phosphate and nitrates in there but rarely test these. From some readings I have found corals require these to grow best. This is just my opinion but it seems like a lot of $$ to spend on this pro-biotic stuff.
