Anyone using Aquaforest reef blend? what is your experience? What were you using before?

I started about two weeks ago. Ordered from Amazon. What I love is how easy they have made it to use their products.

I recently switched to the full AF line about a month ago, I'm glad I did. My corals look much better, colors are noticeably brighter, polyp extension has been better now than ever. I haven't noticed a huge increase of growth yet, but they're growing at the same rate, if not faster.

Like cyberdude said, I like how they make a program for you to follow. As you get used to the program and how your tank responds, you tweak the program for your own needs. I started at half dose of everything and pretty quickly increased as I needed.

I am 4 months in running the full program now, I have seen some very nice results.

I've slowly made the transition to AF. I started using -NP Pro and Pro Bio S in mid-March as well as adding 2L Siporax. I stopped using NP Pro after a few weeks though because my nutrients are already very very low. Early April I started using the Probiotic Reef Salt. In mid-April I started using Coral B and Coral V as well as starting AcroPower instead of Coral A, Zeovit Coral Snow instead of Coral E, and Reef Chili instead of Coral Power Food until I use them up. A week ago I started using the Component 1+2+3+. I'm seeing positive results. My corals were starving before and now I'm starting to see some corals color up that have previously been pretty blah. Polyp extension has also improved.
