i was there today and saw that most of there stuff is on sale, i believe it's 35% off on everything! just to let you guys know

it was more like they did it for an hour to make room for a few more 150.00 yellow tangs and to get rid of a few more 12 dollar blue leg hermits....lol

One of the employees told me they weren't ordering anymore fish and she thought they were closing soon...who knows if it's true, but they were wiped out and had already taken the show tank down. I never purchase anything, just stop by when I'm in the area.

it is there own fault if they have to close up shop. If they had better pricing and more knowlegable employees then more of use would shop there. like $5 a bubble instead of $30 for bubble algae.

Hi All,

Boy this must be the month for store closures. I went buy Capt. Larry's in Akron on Sat. and they also we gone, space for rent. But as we all know he will show up again in the next few months at some other location. I often wondered how AA kept their doors open with the prices they charged.

Yea I learned my AA lesson... Their 35% off sale is just selling at normal price else where. Plus their customer service leaves much to be desired.

I wouldn't be all that upset if they closed up...

35% off there prices is no where close to normal prices else where. You'd have to get75% off to make it right IMO

yeah, i agree with how high the prices are but then again, their rent must be outrageous becuse of their location. they are right in frount of a bz street of a high way. their in a large plaza where theres alot of people traffic. while some other stores are in a more distant location or tucked away in a smaller plaza. it would be nice for aa to have lower prices but i still enjoy walking around in their store because its almost like an aquarium. i hope ohio puts up another aquarium.

ohios aquarium is in the primate building :)

remember the days when it used to be off the marginal right by the stadium

I bet if they were price competative against other fish stores... and increased their Employee knowledge / customer service skills. They would make up any losses by increaseing sales volume. I know at this point I would drive to Salty Critter before I shopped AA.

I just called these guys and they are closing up shop... if any one wants to run in there and get 50% he said that there is a coupon on there website that you can print out....

i looked for the coupon on there web site unless i overlooked something i cant find it. you wonder why there going out of buisness there even blowing smoke up your a$$ about a coupon. oh well i was gonna buy some bubble algae frags too.
