Thanks man, that's a pink lemonade. I neglected that coral for so long due to space, it's just super hardy. It still currently resides on the sand bed. I'm pretty much done buying corals at this point, I have too many and no place to put them. My plan is to add a few pieces of rock so I can keep some of the awesome stuff on my rack and then just be happy watching it
Been playing with the camera a lot and while Im getting better I feel I still have a long way to go. So far from this round Ive learned that the window in the room where the tank is make for an awful reflection. I need to turn my pumps off when I take pics cause there is way too much stuff floating around. I need a different lens if Im ever gonna get great macro shots. Last but not least, fish will never do what you want them to regardless of how many times you ask them
Here's a few new ones, not great but its practice.
I was busy with the 4th so haven't posted much. I edited a couple of posts because photobucket was not organized so you may want to refresh the page. Mitratus is an awesome fish, very active strong eater and I haven't had any problems with aggressive behavior so I'm very happy
Thanks man, the QT has been interesting all year. I don't think I've had an easy one yet. I got a few about to come out in the next week, Ill update soon.
I know what you mean about QT being a challenge. It seems like everything goes super smooth with QT for a while, and then all of a sudden every fish you put in has some sort of a problem and is there for months. Glad to hear that some are about ready to come out.
This fish came in breathing so hard. I originally just figured it was stress and didn't think much about it. After a couple days I started prazipro like I always do and it just made the breathing worse. I thought I was gonna lose him for sure. Anyone who knows me, knows How long I've been looking for this fish and losing him would have really crushed my spirits. Having no idea where to go with the treatment I ended up going with a well rounded med and chose nitrofuracin green. After the first day of treatment I starting seeing results and he slowly came around. I started prazipro again yesterday and things are looking awesome. To answer your question though, he's in a pretty small QT and its really hard to get a decent shot. Soon though, very soon.
