aquarium swap out

I'm planning the swap for this Saturday.

my estimate is to have the running aquarium drained, livestock removed and plumbing lines cut off around noon. At this point in time I'll need help moving the two aquariums. Two strong guys can lift a glass 220 but three (or four) is better.

The actual aquarium swap out shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.
Any takers?

Man Gary, I'd love to be there, honestly, just to be a part of it. On call all weekend AND have a wedding to squeeze in...

If the weather is rainy Saturday I will be free, otherwise I got to get some outdoor projects done before the holiday. I check back tomorrow and let you know.

Gary,

I can probably help out if needed. My wife is taking my daughter to a birthday party, so I'll have my son. But, he can find something to entertain himself with at your house while we're swapping tanks.

Just send me a PM to let me know if you need me, and what time you'd like me to be at your house.

If the stars align properly and my dog pee's on the Maple tree by 1130 and after the five weddings and graduations and my mommy says so, I MIGHT be able to be there by 9 pm...will that work? :mixed:

Oh and I will bring my twin 6yr old boys and my 3 yr old daughter....it's ok if they play with sparklers in the library yes?

I'm almost never available Saturdays, but I may be able to help if you don't have enough hands. Have rubbermaid tubs, will travel.

thanks for any and all offers :)

I'm going to try and time everything out so the aquarium transfer itself happens right around noon. With tubs of critters and such around the work area (my living room!) I won't have room for a whole lot of guests (let alone children).
As you can imagine, once the tank swap is complete I'll want to plumb the new one ASAP and fill it with water and livestock.

are you moving all the stuff from your current tank? and if so......WHY!!!!!!!!????????!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!? Yours is one of the best tanks that I've seen!

but if you get all the female reefers willing to go and help out, I might just have to take a trip to ROC and scope out the happenings :)

Sorry Magdelan.....I couldn't resist either.
