Aquascapes and fish

So I'm about to start a new 120 build. I was thinking of potential aquascapes and was wondering how important is it to have secluded areas for the fish. I would like to do a peninsula or 2 island type aquascape but I also plan to have about 10 fish. Would it be ok to do this kind of aquascape with this mind?

IMO Yes, as long as you have enough places for your fish to hide and feel secure.

just try to incorporate as many caves or small openings as possible into your rock work. good luck

Your fish will be much happier if they can avoid an aggressive fish by darting into the rocks. Lots of caves, swim throughs and ledges but also some large open areas for the fish that like to swim.
