After but i like the cave on before

I also like the cave, but the after looks like it has more room for corals.

After looks better.
How high should anyone stack the rock. Should you leave room at the top, (and anticipate coral growth), or place as much rock as possible in the tank and just place the corals somewhere within the rockscape. For example: my tank is 24 inches deep, should I stack the rock to 20" or 22" high and place corals somewhere on the rock at 18" or lower or should I just stop the rock at a height of let's say 17" and place some of the SPS at the top?

Thanks for all the replies!! I plan on trading the occellaris in eventually. He came over from my 7 gallon minibow that was up for 3 years. I like the look of the maroons better. How are they if you mix them with other fish?
