So i was wondering if you can slope gravel in a saltwater aquarium, I know that you can do it with freshwater gravel but i don't know about saltwater

If you can what materials do you use to keep the gravel to stay up like for support.

You could build a support frame (maybe out ot eggcrate), and lay "gravel" on it.

... just a thought

Yes you need to glue in a wall, can be anything pvc tube/strip glass anything safe.
But remember if in high flow the sand will move or if you plan on having digging/sand movers then all you plans go out window, the live stock and pumps will decide were the sand goes.

I myself went rubble/bb in front, harder to move and for the sand lovers just put in 2 lilly pond planters and filled with sand. These things are great safe/lets water flow/deep and you can hide with a few rocks. You do lose some sand over time but as rubble&BB i just sucks it up on my montly clean up.

agree with all of the above plus wouldn't recamend using live rocks as barriers just because of the cost of live rock

One MAJOR difference between freshwater planted and saltwater is the water flow. Many saltwater tanks have >10 times flow, while a planted freshwater hardly have any water movement!!!

That said, the slop is possible, but it will be a challenge!!
