Has anyone ever ordered from aquatic connection? I wanted to know how the corals arrived and how there service is. Thanks in advance

is your talking about aquacon.com dont do it hence aqua "con" ive heard some bad stories about them ripping people off sucks

Fyi there are plenty of maxis in our region, be it from an LFS or a member.

I am pretty sure you can find a maxi floating around Buffalo. ARC has a ton of a nice size (I know where they came from!). Under the right lighting they will look great.

+1 for not ordering from them. I placed an order with them awhile back, and it was totally wrong. Tried to contact their customer service the day I received my order, got ignored for 4 days. Then when I finally did get a hold of someone, they said since I didn't contact them the day of the delivery, I was SOL. Never ordering from them again.

I thought that this was a different company and went to their site to take a look. The first thing that I noticed is that they don't list any contact information. That's always a show stopper for me if I'm shopping online.

They also steal pictures and use them on their site. I was looking for SPS one time and was browsing their site. Their picture of an acropora Valida was the exact same one as the one on MelevsReef.com. I contacted Melev via PM and let him know, and he assured me that he didn't let aquacon use it. I wonder how many other pictures they have stolen and used as their own.

I've seen them at the swaps, but can't remember who had them. I'd post a thread "LF maxi mini's in Buffalo". I bet you'll get a couple of responses. I've gotten some great corals just by asking the board.

There are plenty of maxis out in Rochester area LFS'S just as an fyi and if you were headed out this way at all.

ARC has hosted a couple a year (Spring and Fall) the last couple of years. Not huge, but usually 6-10 people set up tanks. The turnouts vary.

They definitely seem to be getting really popular these days.

I ordered 8 different types of corals (2 orders) from Aquatic Connection and I had a great experience. My corals were exactly what I ordered. Healthy. Reasonably priced... I am really happy with my experience. No complaints AT ALL!!
